Duels

DUELS & ARENAS
As presented in the very beginning of this guide, one of the four characteristics of the PvP in Rappelz is the Duel. The “duelling” feature is one of the most interesting aspects of the game and allows an entertaining escape to the PvE routine.

Please note that since Epic VI Part 1, you can now engage duels without being in an arena. For that, select the player, right click on his portrait and launch the Duel.

WHAT IS AN ARENA?
Arenas are designated areas in Gaia continent where people can partake in 1v1 combats without the activation of the Player Kill mode.

There are 4 Arenas, each located nearby the four main towns:

In Horizon is located south of the city:

HORIZON ARENA

In Katan is located north east of the city:

KATAN ARENA

In Laksy is located North West of the city:

LAKSY ARENA

In Rondo is located North West of the city:

HOW TO DUEL?
Requesting a Duel is really easy. You just have to target your opponent, right clicking on his avatar and select the option “Request Duel”.

If the opponent will accept the challenge, a countdown from 10 will start and, after that, the duel will begin.

During a fight the duellists will have a special Icon close to the character’s name.

After a Duel, you will lose all the buffs applied on the character. You will be able to recover your wounds contacting the “Healer” NPC’s close to the Arenas.

Together with fighting the scarecrows, Duel is the perfect training to test characteristics and skills without losing experience or gaining Immorality Points.

Are you ready to fight?
